The walkway at the National Sports Centre in Bermuda has been given a street sign that says 'Beyoncé Boulevard' after it was nicknamed that by construction workers back in 2008.

Beyoncé made her entrance on the walkway when she performed in the area 5 years ago for a music festival and it has been known as that ever since, but now a sign has been erected to confirm the name although site manager Trevor Madeiros told Bermuda's Royal Gazette that it's still not official:

"We had to tidy up the driveway for her to come through to perform — it was a construction site at the time."

"Somebody called it Beyoncé Boulevard and everybody started using it… So many people use the name when giving directions to visitors that it finally got its own sign. It’s nothing really official. It’s an internal thing that we put up ourselves."
