Union J star George Shelley has promised fans that he will strip off and lie in a bath of baked beans if his band's debut single tops the UK chart.

As previously reported, the former X Factor contestants unleashed the audio for their first ever single 'Carry You' on Monday (April 22).

It is due to receive an official release on June 2 and Shelley told The Sun that there are grand plans mooted if the song hits No.1 in the UK. He said:

"We'll have a massive party - and I've said I'll sit in a bath of beans."

When questioned if he really would do it, the singer added: "Yes definitely, be pictured and everything, you have my word."
