Ronald Fenty, the father of Bajan songstress Rihanna, has revealed that he would be happy if she rekindled her on-off relationship with Chris Brown because he thinks the hitmaker is fantastic.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper in Britain, Ronald explained that he's forgiven Brown for the 2009 assault that left his daughter beaten and bruised, and hopes the couple eventually work out their differences:

"I'm still his No 1 fan - I still like Chris regardless. They have a very passionate relationship but if they split up it does not mean it's for ever with them. In a couple of months they'll be back together."

He also revealed that he's been keeping in touch with the 'Where Have You Been' beauty while she's on tour, adding: "She seemed to be doing okay. We talked about how the tour was going. I asked her if she partied and she needed rest and she said: 'I'm going to be okay, dad.'"

Meanwhile, Rihanna picked up 4 prizes at the Billboard Music Awards over the weekend and told her fans: "Thank you #BILLBOARD for showing my fans the love they deserve!!! I'm truly grateful for these 4 awards that you've rewarded us! Thank you again!! #MusicRdie #BBMAs"
