Little Mix album debuts at No.4 in US chart

Little Mix have scored a top five album in the US.

The X Factor UK 2011 winners released their debut effort 'DNA' in the States on May 28 and it instantly shot up the iTunes download chart.

Newly released figures show that the female quartet have landed at No.4 on the albums chart after a week of being on sale.

The impressive feat sees the 'Wings' stars sit behind Daft Punk, Alice in Chains and John Fogerty on the list.

Little Mix are the latest British act to find success in the US, with One Direction, Cher Lloyd and Ed Sheeran all enjoying fame across the pond.

One Direction in particular has trumped the States, with their first two albums hitting No.1 and the band gaining a fanatic audience.
