Ringo Starr: 'The Beatles would have reunited if all the members were alive'

The former drummer of The Beatles believes the band would definitely have reunited for live shows if John Lennon and George Harrison hadn't died.

Speaking about the Fab Four to Britain's The Mirror, Starr explained that he is convinced the members would have been excited to get back together for their fans if they were all still alive because their fire for playing never went out:

"I'd like to think, yes, we would. Paul still goes out with his band,  I go out with mine and John would have probably been going out with his."

"George was not big on touring so I'm not sure about him. But who  knows... it could have come together."

Iconic musician John Lennon was shot and killed on his Manhattan doorstep on December 8, 1980 and Harrison died on November 21, 2001 from metastatic non-small cell lung cancer. Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are still active in music independently of each other.
