Bob Dylan will play nine shows in the UK this winter.

The veteran US musician will perform the dates in three different cities in November.

The jaunt will kick off at Glasgow's Clyde Auditorium on November 18, with Dylan then performing two more consecutive dates at the venue.

The same pattern will follow for Blackpool's Opera House (November 22, 23, 24) and London's Royal Albert Hall (November 26, 27, 28).

Tickets for the shows will go on sale from 9am UK time on Friday (June 14).

Dylan's last studio album came in the form of 2012's 'Tempest'.

The record reached No.3 in both the US and UK albums chart.
