Daft Punk to release action figures

Daft Punk are due to release their own figures.

The French electronic duo have seen their stock rise considerably this year with the release of their new album 'Random Access Memories' and hit single 'Get Lucky'.

Toy manufacturers Bandai and Japan's SH Figuarts have now confirmed that they will release a pair of figures modelled on the duo's two stars, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo.

The models see the pair wear their trademark headgear, which enjoys a "shiny metallic finish and clear parts for enhanced realism".

They will be unleashed in Japan in November and the US in December, with no European release details yet issued.
