Richard and Adam's debut album tops UK chart

Britain’s Got Talent finalists Richard and Adam have shot straight to No. 1 in the UK album chart.

Most well-known for finishing in third place on the seventh series of Britain’s Got Talent, the two classical singers now have a debut album sitting at the top of the UK chart.

The Welsh duo’s LP ‘The Impossible Dream’ has displaced another talent show contestant from the top of the charts as last week’s No. 1 album by X Factor’s Jahmene Douglas has fallen one place to No. 2.

At No. 3 this week is Passenger’s ‘All The Little Lights’ which is up one place from last week.

Jay Z’s twelfth studio album ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’ is down one place to No.4 whilst Rod Stewart is a non-mover this week ‘Time’ still at No. 5.

New entries to this week's album chart include Scouting For Girls with their 'Greatest Hits' at No. 8 and AlunaGeorge's debut LP 'Body Music' straight in at No. 11
