Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon planning special anniversary celebration

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are planning a big celebration to welcome their fifth wedding anniversary next month.

The couple, who tied the knot back in 2008, will mark 5 years of marriage on April 30, but it's an especially important date as it will also be the pair's first anniversary as parents to their twins Moroccan and Monroe.

Cannon explained to Life & Style magazine that they will make the most of the occasion and will celebrate with their children as well as alone:

"It's a family day. We'll celebrate with them during the day and just the two of us at night... We get married every year; it's our thing. I just have to keep doing it to make sure it's real!"
