Miley Cyrus surprised pub-goers over the weekend by performing in a karaoke bar.

The singer turned up at the Cat's Meow bar in New Orleans on Monday (March 17) with a group of friends.

They ran through the classic track 'Baby Got Back', which was made famous by Sir Mix-a-Lot in 1992.

Cyrus wore a black beanie hat and a black jacket as she kept it low key.

The karaoke bar appearance took place during the singer's Bangerz Tour, which is still on-going in North America.

The US star's next date is due to take place tonight (March 20) in Tampa.
