Sean Garrett has opened up on Miley Cyrus's forthcoming duet with Britney Spears.

The songwriter previously confirmed speculation that the US stars will be teaming up for a song on Cyrus's new album 'Bangerz'.

In a new interview with The Source, Garrett said that the collaboration was one of three tracks he worked on for the record. He said:

"Miley is super cool, she's a real cool chick, she just makes me smile. We just did three crazy records for her, one of them featuring the great Britney Spears."

Replying to suggestion that the Spears duet is "epic", Garrett replied: "I mean that's the only way we know how to do it… I love both of them… that right there is iconic, you see now I'm living life."

'Bangerz' meanwhile is due to be released on October 7 in the UK and a day later in the US.
