Rap sensation Nicki Minaj has admitted that tensions on the American Idol set have finally died down after the spat she had with fellow judge Mariah Carey.

Although she recently explained that when she got into the much talked about heated argument with the 'Obsessed' icon she had "met her match", Minaj has now confessed that they are on good terms and told MTV News they have "been fine" since.

Minaj added that it's been interesting to be a part of a television show because she isn't used to working to a strict schedule: "It's been a new experience for me. And it's just been interesting for me to have a 9 to 5 job."

"I haven't done that in such a long time. I haven't had to come somewhere and do a specific thing. I've been kind of creating my own schedule for the last few years, so it's interesting, but I love the people there, so that makes it OK."
