Olly Murs says it would be 'amazing' to have another Live Aid

Olly Murs has called on Bob Geldof to organise another Live Aid gig.

The singer teamed up with a host of stars recently for a new Band Aid single to raise money to tackle Ebola.

It was 30 years since the original 'Do They Know It's Christmas?' song was released, which spawned the fundraising Live Aid event in 1985.

Speaking to the Daily Star, the singer said that he thinks another Live Aid should be arranged.

Murs said: "It would be incredible to do. It has been done in the past and it would be amazing to do again. I’ve heard inklings from Bob on the other ideas that he’s got. He’s definitely got an idea and plan for something to happen.

“If I was asked to do it I would be definitely make sure I was available.”

A fresh version of Live Aid - Live 8 - was held across the world in 2005.
