Olly Murs reveals tour fitness plan and work out regime

'Dance With Me Tonight' star Olly Murs has revealed that he's on a strict health and fitness regime ahead of his forthcoming UK headlining tour.

The singer is set to take his hits out on the road in February, with his first date being in Wales tomorrow (February 1), and admitted to Capital FM that in order to maintain the stamina he needs for the run of live shows he has enlisted the help of a trainer:

"I've been getting worked out every day. Doing press ups, sit ups, burpies, sprints, running – everything."

"Me and my tour manager are doing it and the other day Nathan (the trainer) got us wearing a parachute each and leg weights, and got us running doing sprints. That was well hard, an absolute killer."

He also explained that after talking to touring veterans such as Take That's Robbie Williams, he decided it would take more than a few laps around a track to get him in shape for such a gruelling schedule:

"They always speak about how much effort you have to put into it to get yourself in really good shape. I mean I'm not doing as big a tour as they've done, but 18 shows in 25 days is going to be a lot for me."
