Olly Murs wants reality show: 'I'd want it to be as honest as possible'

'Dance With Me Tonight' hitmaker Olly Murs has confessed that he would love to follow in the footsteps of The Wanted and The Saturdays by having his own reality television series.

Speaking to Britain's Daily Star newspaper, the heartthrob explained that showing a truthful side to his fame along with letting fans have a real insight into what his life is genuinely like would be great:

"I'd obviously love to have my own E! show like The Saturdays and The Wanted. But if I did it I'd want it to be as honest as possible."

"I'd want it to show me being upset, depressed, tired, grumpy as well as the highs. People have a preconceived idea of the life of a pop star but it usually isn't correct. Yes we are incredibly lucky and enjoy a great life but it can be tough too."

Meanwhile, Murs performed on the Main Stage at Hylands Park in Chelmsford yesterday (August 18) for V Festival and treated fans to a medley of music from the 1970s, including a rendition of 'Boogie Wonderland'.
