‘SOUTH CENTRALIZED’ MIXTAPE

South Central rapper/singer/songwriter Jayy Starr has released her latest mixtape South Centralized with guest features from Joe Moses, Jake&Papa, and Dizzy Wright, among others. The 14-track mixtape was produced mainly by DJ Hed’s Dream Team Productions, Curtiss King, and Rich I.E.  The lead single, “Oowee,” featuring Joe Moses combines Jayy’s perspective as a young, female rapper with the sounds of the male-dominated, modern West Coast hip-hop scene.

“This is my first strictly West Coast full-length project. I wanted South Centralized to be something fun, but still have substance. I want people to know that there is a lot more coming out of South Central than your typical gangsta rap,” says Jayy Starr of the project. “I want people to turn up to this mixtape, but also meditate on it and most importantly be inspired.”
