Pixie Lott 'not comfortable' with sexy image or provocative lyrics

Sweet singer Pixie Lott has no plans to reinvent herself to fit in with the raunchy pop star stereotype that's dominating the charts of late because she wouldn't want her family to be subjected to naughty lyrics.

Referring specifically to Bajan beauty Rihanna, whose sexy track 'S&M' sparked outrage upon its release, Lott told The Sun newspaper that she strives to protect her own image and likes to "leave some things to the imagination":

"I just don't think I'd feel comfortable doing lyrics like that. I'm just like 'wow' at some of her stuff. But if she's not writing every lyric and she's still happy to do it, fair enough."

"Different artists do different things and you have to feel and look comfortable doing it. It totally suits Rihanna. She is amazing but even if I wanted to do that, I just couldn't."

She also admitted that while the way she represents herself in public and to her fans is important, she's very careful not to upset, offend or make her loved ones feel awkward with her career and added:

"I can't imagine playing that kind of stuff to my family. My grandad gets a copy of my album and I wouldn't want him to hear me like that. He watches the shows and stuff. For fans I like to leave some things to the imagination."
