Glam-pop heroes Scissor Sisters have had to cancel some of their European tour dates for financial reasons.

In a statement posted on their official website http://www.scissorsisters.com, the band said; “We’re genuinely sorry about this frustrating situation. We’ll try to make it up to you and return to these beautiful cities soon.”

Refunds will be made available for the dates affected, which include shows in Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Italy.

Good news for UK fans however; their arena tour, which starts in December, is not affected.
