Shakira reveals new album artwork

Shakira has released the cover artwork for her upcoming new album.

The sultry singer is due to unleash her self-titled record on March 24 in the UK and a day later in the US.

The 'Hips Don't Lie' star has now unveiled its artwork, which sees Shakira wearing a revealing outfit and clutching an acoustic guitar.

The singer meanwhile will perform new single 'Can't Remember to Forget You' on The Voice UK on March 29 as she promotes her record.

The video for the track, which originally featured Rihanna, has become VEVO's second fastest video to reach 100 million views.

The promo clip, which sees the two singers frolic in bed, has nearly had 130 million views so far.

A politician from Shakira's native Colombia, however, recently proclaimed that the video promotes lesbianism and is a danger to children.
