Taylor Swift on being guest mentor on 'The Voice': 'I'm excited to spend time with Gwen Stefani'

'Shake It Off' superstar Taylor Swift was recently confirmed as a guest mentor for the current season of 'The Voice' in America and she has now spoken out about the exciting role, which she admitted will be a lot of fun because the judging panel is made up of fantastic musicians.

The show has Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams, country singer Blake Shelton, and No Doubt's Gwen Stefani on its panel and Swift told Access Hollywood that she's looking forward to getting stuck in with such well-respected names.

She admitted that she can't wait to 'spend time' with platinum-haired Stefani because she admires her style and individuality: "I look up to Gwen Stefani so much because she's continued to do her thing. I love that she never veered away from red lipstick, I can relate. I'm really excited to spend time with her."

The beauty also teased that a collaboration with Pharrell might be on the cards for the future after he suggested it to her on set: "Pharrell and I were talking, in the breaks yesterday, and we just kept saying, 'We have to do something together!' He's like, 'You just call me. Call me when you figure it out.' I'm like, 'You call me if you figure it out first!'"
