Wiz Khalifa sunglasses are a hit

Last year rapper Wiz Khalifa designed a pair of ‘Elevator’ sunglasses, 500 of which were released to the public. And even with a hefty $225 price tag, they’ve just about sold out.

Eyetique, the Pittsburgh-based manufacturer, says that the seven online stores selling the shades saw website traffic soar, with 30% of sales happening outside America.

Wiz Khalifa’s debut album, 'Rolling Papers', is out at the end of the month.
