Maroon 5's sexy frontman Adam Levine has revealed that during a recent visit to Korea he was kicked out of a gym because of his tattoos.

Writing on his official Twitter page last night (September 16), the 'Payphone' hitmaker explained that he was trying to work out when his session was interrupted by the manager who felt uncomfortable with his visible body art:

"They tried to kick me outta the gym in Korea because I had tattoos. I assured them it wasn't a real tiger and it wouldn't harm anyone. They didn't think this was funny. Thank GOD they didn't see the shark."

"The manager totally stonewalled me. I sang Gangam Style and did the dance and everything. Silence. the cops didn't like it either. All misunderstandings aside, Korea was #maximumawesome. Thank you!!! Manila here we come!!!"

His band will perform a concert tomorrow night (September 18) at Manila's Araneta Coliseum.
