Alexandra Burke graces the cover of this week's Fabulous magazine and opens up about her goals for 2012 and how she has learned to cope with the pressures of fame after a particularly difficult start to her career. 

The 23-year-old hitmaker, who was crowned the winner of The X Factor back in 2008, sat down with the magazine for an insightful chat and explained that her aim for the next twelve months is to find herself a good man:

"My mission for this year is to get myself a boyfriend. I have no idea where I am going wrong. I'm 23 years old and I've done a lot in life, but I've never found happiness in terms of love."

She also revealed that being in the public eye has been a struggle, but she feels as though she is strong enough now to deal with the negativity while still enjoying the rewards of her hard work and talent:

"I was totally obsessed. I would only take notice of the bad things. I’d browse forums and look at these awful things that were written. But you have to grow a thick skin if you want to survive in this business."

"Saying that, I've had to deal with a lot of stuff this year. It's been a learning curve - I've had to prove myself to a new record company. Some things didn't turn out how I wanted them, but I guess I don't have a right to moan.”
