After Dotty recently announced joining Apple Music last month as Lead Cultural Curator, Black Music, UK, today (Monday 12th October) she launches her brand new show, 'The Dotty Show', airing at 3pm BST on Apple Music 1. Dotty will also join as permanent host of 'The Agenda Radio' with her inaugural show airing this Friday (16th October) at 2pm BST also on Apple Music 1.
'The Dotty Show', airing Monday to Thursday 3-5pm, is a two-hour daily show and a celebration of the best Black music from the UK and around the world. She will connect with a diverse selection of guests, celebrate icons and brand new artists, and share her love of the best in past, present and future Black music - everything from Hip-Hop to R&B to Dancehall to Drill and everything in between. Each show will have a theme:
• Monday: All about new music discovery and community. Dotty, her listeners and the Apple Music family will share and discover new music together from brand new releases to recent favourites from the UK and beyond
The home of The Agenda playlist Dotty's hour-long show, 'The Agenda Radio', will air every Friday at 2pm. Dotty will play the best in UK and international Black music. Each week there will be a cover star to shine a spotlight on the biggest artists and tracks in the UK scene.
Dotty says: "This really is my dream job! I started in this business as an artist myself so to be taking on a role that allows me to empower musicians is incredible. And to do all of that while continuing to do what I love on the radio is huge!"

In August, Apple announced two new live global radio offerings on Apple Music now available to music fans in 165 countries. Beats 1, the flagship global radio station, was renamed Apple Music 1, and two additional radio stations launched: Apple Music Hits, celebrating everyone's favourite songs from the '80s, '90s, and 2000s, and Apple Music Country, spotlighting country music.
