Dotty, Step's 'H', Jorgie Porter, Spencer Matthews & more to take part in !mpossible CelebritiesAll-star line-up revealed for !mpossible CelebritiesOFFICIAL PRESS RELEASENEWS PROVIDED BY BBC One !mpossible Celebrities is making its way to primetime BBC One this summer, hosted by Rick Edwards. Across six episodes 18 celebrity contestants will compete for the chance to win £10,000 for a charity of their choice. In each episode, the celebrities must avoid giving !mpossible answers as they battle it out across three rounds of !mpossible style multiple choice questions. Every right answer takes them a step closer to a shot at that jackpot - but a single !mpossible answer will knock them out for that episode. Meet the CelebritiesThe 18 celebrities taking on the challenge are:
“I loved filming !mpossible, not only because I like a challenge, but because I’m now friends with Reverend Kate Bottley and we meet up for lunch.” - Dotty “My happiest moment was watching the lovely Debbie McGee trying to figure out the nicknames of darts players. Debbie and darts is not a natural combo.” - Gregg Wallace “One of the most fiendishly tricky quizzes I’ve ever thrown myself into. And Rick was very handsome.” - Russell Kane “I was SO bad in the first few episodes, but then everyone got behind me and cheered when I got answers right! Some of my highlights were getting Spencer to do Tragedy in the breaks and WhatsApping Reverend Kate during the show.” - Ian ‘H’ Watkins “I loved being on the show, we had loads of fun, but sharing sweets under the desk with Jorgie Porter took me back to breaking the rules at school.” - Iwan Thomas “One memorable moment came while trying to make small talk with Gregg Wallace, food critic extraordinaire, over lunch. I figured I’d bring up my attempt to follow a vegan diet, so I somewhat flippantly said, ‘Some vegan food is actually quite decent, mate, you’d be surprised.’ He replied ‘No, I don’t think I’d be that surprised. I’ve only been in the food industry for twenty years.’ Forget food, this was more foot in mouth.” - Rory Reid “I loved being the !mpossible Celebrities’ resident farmer. Ever wanted to know how a Gloucestershire Old Spot pig got its spots?! Tune in and I'll tell you!" - JB Gill “For me the best thing was getting together with Anton and Chizzy again.” - Debbie McGee "What a ride! For me, my favourite bit was answering the Motown questions - at last a category I could get on board with! But it was all a fun, surprising and literally educational experience and I got to sit next to Debbie McGee (the lovely) and H-out-of-Steps!! Dream come true!" - Rachel Parris “!mpossible Celebrities was so much fun to be part of. The pressure did get to me though and the ticking clock made me make some silly mistakes and say some daft answers. It was a wonderful opportunity to make some money for some well deserving charities. I was glad to be part of it.” - Reverend Kate Bottley “I absolutely loved doing this, it was such a warm fun show to be part of. My favourite moment was guessing questions on sport - and accidentally getting them right!” - Craig Hill “!mpossible was exactly that - a studio full of celebrities all trying to be the winner. I can’t give much away but watch out for the quiet ones.” Spencer Matthews “What a great show – when you’re sitting between Gregg Wallace and Debbie McGee on a Saturday night, what more could you want?” - Dick and Dom “Oh yikes, honestly I think my family are about to disown me. I had so much fun on the show and most definitely laughed wayyy too much!” - Jorgie Porter “The best bit was that it was really nice to spend so much time with people. There was a massive camaraderie about people getting to the final.” - Tanni Grey-Thompson “Great show... although thinking of one POSSIBLE answer is usually more than enough for me!” - Hannah Spearritt WATCH DOTTY, JORGIE PORTER AND SPENCER MATTHEWS, BELOW:
