The commission comes following the series' recent ratings success, which has seen an average of 3.8m across the first six episodes, with a 22 percent share and a peak of 5.1m viewers.

Each week, players will need to navigate their way through a series of rounds to win a cash prize by guessing who can and can’t sing from a group of mystery people standing before them, all without ever hearing them sing a note.

Kate Phillips, Controller Entertainment Commissioning for the BBC, says: “We are so pleased that I Can See Your Voice will be returning. I know viewers have really enjoyed playing along with our very funny, frank panel, as we all hold our breaths for those memorable moments when a great or gruesome singer starts belting out a banger!”
