Food style / inspiration: I’d describe myself as a rustic British cook. I get loads of inspiration from watching YouTube cooking videos and also from going to the butchers and finding out about what different cuts of meat they have.

Why Masterchef? Over lockdown the kids and I would cook together all the time. It’s a real special moment in our house when we are all in the kitchen together, having fun, trying new things and bonding over the meals we make. I want to make my family proud. I have MS and since the moment I was diagnosed I’ve tried to push myself out of my comfort zone. I am very determined to show my kids not to give up and to keep fighting.
