BBC confirms TV schedule for 2023 Women’s World Cup Round of 16

England's last-16 match against Nigeria is exclusively live on BBC One on Monday 7 August at 8.30am BST

Audiences can also listen to England across BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds
Round of 16 matches on BBC TV & iPlayer also include Spain v Switzerland, Australia v Denmark, Netherland v South Africa and France v Morocco

The BBC is the only place you can watch BOTH World Cup Semi-Finals

Final to be broadcast across the BBC

The BBC is broadcasting England’s last-16 match against Nigeria, at the FIFA Women's World Cup, live on BBC One on Monday 7 August at 8.30am BST. Fans can also listen to England across BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds

After a 6-1 victory against China in their last Group Stage game, and topping Group D with a 100% record, England will face Nigeria, who finished second in Group B.

Audiences can also watch four other crucial Round of 16 fixtures on BBC TV and iPlayer. Spain takes on Switzerland on Saturday 5 August, while 2019 finalists Netherlands are set to face South Africa on Sunday 6 August.

Australia, the only remaining host nation in the competition after New Zealand finished third in their group, will face Denmark on Monday 7 August. Top 5 ranked France will take on Morocco on Tuesday 8 August to decide who will take the last Quarter-Final spot.

Highlights of all the last-16 matches are available for audiences to watch on Women’s World Cup Highlights at 7pm on BBC Three daily - as well as on BBC iPlayer , and the BBC Sport website and app throughout the day .

Later in the tournament, the BBC is the only place you can watch both World Cup Semi-Finals. The final, as ever, will be broadcast by both the BBC and ITV.
