Presenters, Rav Wilding and Michelle Ackerley return this autumn, to help the crimefighters crack some of the UK’s biggest unsolved cases.

Broadcasting live over three weeks, each new episode will feature a reconstruction appeal film, ‘Wanted Faces’ and shine a light on the dedicated teams bringing criminals to justice.

From high profile murder cases, robberies to assaults, the series will focus on recent nationwide crimes as well as update viewers on crimes that have featured throughout the current series and past ones.

Crimewatch Live will once again appeal to viewers to help the Police to solve dozens of cases. In the last year, our appeals have led to significant developments on multiple cases for Police and led to arrests and charges.

Audiences can contact the show by phoning 08000 468 999, with the phone lines remaining open until 12:30pm on the morning of the programme.

The series will also be available to watch on BBC iPlayer for 7 days after transmission.

Rav comments, “I’m really looking forward to another series of Crimewatch Live and working not only with Police and other law enforcement agencies, but also the biggest crime fighting team anyone could wish for, which is of course the amazing audience to try and solve a huge variety of serious crimes”

Crimewatch Live was commissioned by Julie Shaw, BBC Factual Commissioner.

The series is produced by BBC Studios Documentary Unit. The Executive Producer is Michelle Cox.
