BBC One joins the celebrations from Friday 23 June, as The One Show reports live from the festival.

Glastonbury 2023

7.30pm - 9pm, BBC Two and BBC iPlayer

Lauren Laverne and Clara Amfo are live at Glastonbury Festival for the first full day of music. Introducing performances from across the site, Lauren and Clara will bring viewers highlights from: Texas, who return to the Pyramid Stage for the first time since 1999; Los Angeles trio Gabriels, who bring a unique cinematic blend of soul, R&B and gospel to the West Holts Stage; and Liverpudlian rock band The Lightning Seeds, who return to the festival for the first time since 2010 on the Other Stage. Expect chats with special guests, and intimate performances in the Park studio.

Carly Rae Jepsen & Maisie Peters At Glastonbury 2023

Vick Hope presents highlights from two singer-songwriters who are set to make their debut at Glastonbury Festival - Carly Rae Jepsen and Maisie Peters. From the Other Stage, Canadian popstar Carly Rae Jepsen will perform songs from her back catalogue, including the global smash hit Call Me Maybe. Maisie Peters will take to the Pyramid Stage just days after the release of her sophomore album The Good Witch.

Clara Amfo and Jo Whiley are live from Glastonbury Festival as they gear up to welcome the first headliner of the weekend and Sheffield’s finest, Arctic Monkeys. Jack Saunders also reports from the Pyramid Stage pit, soaking up the excitement ahead of the band’s highly anticipated third headline performance at the festival. Clara and Jo will also introduce music from the likes of Brighton duo Royal Blood from the Pyramid Stage, as well as all-female indie rockers Warpaint, enigmatic 70s duo Sparks, and Scottish trio Young Fathers. Plus, there will be a special performance in the studio and a short film looking back at Arctic Monkeys’ Glastonbury journey to date.

Fred Again.. At Glastonbury 2023

Vick Hope introduces man of the moment, South Londoner Fred again.., who heads out for the penultimate and sunset slot on the Other Stage on day one of the festival. The songwriter, DJ, producer and musician has had a meteoric ascent over the past few years with sell out shows, three Actual Life albums, a recent Brian Eno collaboration called Secret Life and production credits with the likes of Stormzy and Ed Sheeran. His unique way of bringing together material from unusual sources, his unexpected collaborations and his deeply personal work have gained him a huge army of fans, who he builds a strong relationship with during the shows. Making his debut at Worthy Farm, his performance is set to be one of the most exciting of the weekend and one not to miss.

Digga D & Shygirl At Glastonbury 2023

10pm-11pm, BBC Three and BBC iPlayer

Vick Hope presents exciting sets from two London artists on day one of Glastonbury Festival. Digga D makes his debut in the fields of Worthy Farm, riding on the success of his 2022 mixtape, Noughty by Nature. Plus, one of last year’s breakout stars - the critically acclaimed artist and rapper Shygirl - returns for the second year running, after the release of her debut album Nymph.

Arctic Monkeys At Glastonbury 2023

10.30pm-12am, BBC One and BBC iPlayer

Jo Whiley & Clara Amfo introduce Sheffield icons Arctic Monkeys as they take to the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury. This will be the band’s third headline set the festival, a decade on from their last appearance in 2013. Following a huge sold out world tour and armed with their recent seventh studio album, The Car, they are set to be one of the talking points of this year’s festival.

Wizkid & Stefflon Don At Glastonbury 2023

11pm-12.30am, BBC Three and BBC iPlayer

Vick Hope presents two performances from the first day of Glastonbury Festival: Nigerian megastar Wizkid, who over the past decade has ascended to household name status and now brings his own brand of Afrobeat to headline the Other Stage; and rapper Stefflon Don, who has worked her way up the Glastonbury stages and this year hits the iconic Pyramid Stage, ahead of the much anticipated release of her debut album, Island 54.

The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show, LIVE from Worthy Farm

7am-10am, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds

The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show will once again be live from Glastonbury, featuring live music performances, guests, and festival action from across the site courtesy of Richie Anderson and Tina Daheley. Expect live music from Texas, plus visits from famous friends including Emily Eavis and Norman Cook a.k.a Fatboy Slim, who prepares to headline The Park stage on Saturday evening. Glastonbury Chaplain, Methodist Minister Tina Swire also joins the show to Pause For Thought at 7.15am.

Woman’s Hour

10am-11am, BBC Radio 4 and BBC Sounds

Woman’s Hour will be broadcasting from Glastonbury for the first time on Friday 23rd June as Anita Rani brings listeners the latest from the festival.

Lauren Laverne

10.30am-1pm, BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Sounds

Following All Day Glastonbury shows from Chris Hawkins (5am-7.30am) and Nemone (7.30am-10.30am), Lauren Laverne is live from Pilton at the later time of 10.30am-1pm. She is joined by the Glastonbury’s Emily Eavis and will be catching up with artists ahead of their sets at this year’s festival. There will also be live music as the five main festival stages - Pyramid, Other, Woodsies, Park and West Holts - welcome their first live performances of the weekend. Lauren’s show will be the first of five live broadcasts from the festival today, with further programmes hosted by Jamz Supernova (1pm-4pm), Steve Lamacq (4pm-7pm), Tom Ravenscroft and Deb Grant (7pm-9pm) and Huw Stephens (9pm-12am).

Steve Lamacq

4pm-7pm, BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Sounds

Steve takes teatime to Worthy Farm, presenting his show backstage at the festival, where he is joined by special guests and delivers some of the musical highlights of the festival so far.

Danny Howard, Pete Tong and Sarah Story broadcast live from Worthy Farm.

Huw Stephens

9pm-12am, BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Sounds

Huw Stephens is live from Glastonbury, as 6 Music begins its takeover of the BBC Music Introducing Stage, “Indie Forever Live at Glastonbury”. The first hour of Huw’s show will be broadcast live from the stage, where Good Future - otherwise known at Nathan Shepherd - who usually presents Indie Forever each Friday on 6 Music (9pm-11pm) - provides a live set full of solid gold, upbeat indie bangers. Later in the show, 6 Music brings listeners Arctic Monkeys’ headline set from the Pyramid Stage.

Tiffany Calver and Kenny Allstar

9pm-12am, Radio 1Xtra and BBC Sounds

Tiffany Calver and Kenny Allstar host a Glastonbury special which will include Wizkid’s performance on the Other Stage.
