German producer team Felix Eickhoff and Simon Reichardt, aka The Ironix, newly signed to BMG for publishing, have collaborated with multi-platinum selling reggaeton superstars Yandel and J Balvin on the new single ‘No Te Vayas’. The track generated over 14 million audio and video streams in the first week of its release (July 31).
Eickhoff and Reichardt said: "In BMG we have found a fantastic international partner for our publishing business and are very excited for the team to join us on our journey.”
Said Florian Schrödter, BMG, Director A&R Publishing GSA: “The Ironix are one of the most versatile producer teams in Germany, spearheading a new generation with their ability to create unique sounds and vibes. We are happy that high-level international artists picked up on this so quickly.”
Eickhoff and Reichardt have been close friends since childhood. Due to their parents’ strong musical influence, they quickly found their way into music, spending every spare minute in their self-built basement studio. Tinkering with beats continued to build their passion until finally they swapped DJ’ing for a career as music producers.
The Ironix first gained attention in 2013 with an unofficial remix of One Republic's 'Counting Stars' which has generated over 600, 000 streams on YouTube and Soundcloud. Their first original singles 'Obsessed' and 'Lost in the Water' (both 2015) were internationally acclaimed. The producer trio, Madizin, paved the way for them to produce for artists such as German superstar Helene Fischer. Earlier in 2020, The Ironix contributed ten out of 14 songs on Katja Krasavice's Number One album Boss Bitch.
