"Sweet Night" by BTS' V makes triple chart history
"Sweet Night" by BTS' V [aka Tae hyung 김태형] has made triple chart history.
Not only has V debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart, the highest debut for a Korean soloist on the chart ever, but he's also debuted in the top 10 (#9) on the Emerging Artists chart this week.
On top of that, "Sweet Night" has been named the longest reigning No. 1 song on US iTunes by any Korean-soloist.
The song is for the JTBC drama, "Itaewon Class," and is the first solo OST from the hugely popular BTS member. It was released on March 13, and impressively debuted straight on top of the US iTunes.
The song also charted in a host of other countries such as the UK, US, Germany, France, Italy, Canada, Spain, Australia and Brazil.
