Less than a month until BTS' 'Bang Bang Con'

BTS are set to perform live for ARMY soon and we couldn't be more excited!

The septet - consisting of Yoongi, Taehyung, Jungkook, J Hope, Jimin, RM, Jin - are among the many artists around the world who are finding new ways to engage with their fans during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Last month, BTS held a two-day streaming event named Bang Bang Con revisiting past tours and fan meetings. The event attracted over 50.6 million viewers. Now, the supergroup are set to host a live-streamed concert next month on June 14 at 6pm KST. That's 5am in New York and 2am for those on the US West Coast.

Bang Bang Con: The Live paid-for concert will run for approximately 90 minutes and be followed with other content which is still to be announced. The event will give the group the chance to connect with ARMYs live from the safety and comfort of their homes. In a press email, Big Hit Entertainment described the event as a “live ‘on-tact (On-Contact)’ concert”.

In February, the South Korean jaugernauts released their latest album,  and were on the verge of a world tour in order to promote it, when the coronavirus suddenly forced them to postpone it.

Bang Bang Con: The Live coincides with the seventh anniversary of the band's debut. The Bangtan boys usually host a two-week Festa each year to commemorate the date [June 13, 2013].

Last week, BTS were again the most streamed group on global YouTube for the week ending May 14, amassing an incredible 141 million viewers.
