BAUER MEDIA AUDIO UK RETURNS TO THE LONDON PALLADIUM

Stations will once again host a series of live events at the iconic West End theatre following last year’s popular residency

Following a successful run of live entertainment shows in 2022, Bauer Media Audio UK has announced its return to the iconic London Palladium for another weekend of fabulously festive live events.

November will see a host of legendary broadcasters, musicians, West End stars and comedians take to the iconic West End stage beginning with the Pop Master himself Ken Bruce hosting Greatest Hits Radio Live on Friday 24th. He’ll be getting the party started at the Palladium along with the Greatest Hits House Band and their set list of the very best of 70s, 80s and 90s music, as well as introducing performances from some very special artists.

Saturday night sees the return of Magic of Christmas – a sign that the festive season has well and truly started! This year a tinsel-tastic line-up includes Rick Astley, Emeli Sandé, Simply Red and Texas with more acts to be announced.

And then Sunday brings not one but two shows to entertain audiences, starting with a matinee performance from Scala Radio Presents: Classics at Christmas. Introduced by Scala Radio presenter Penny Smith and world-renowned tenor Alfie Boe, the afternoon will delight classical fans thanks to an appearance from the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra who will be accompanying Alfie, and other special guests, in a selection of festive favourites.

Then in the evening radio’s biggest comedy event returns with Absolute Radio Live once again raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Frank Skinner is back on hosting duties and will be joined by a laugh-inducing line up of comics. Previous years have featured sets from comedy superstars including Romesh Ranganathan, Rob Beckett, Zoe Lyons and Nish Kumar.
