CBeebies introduces brand new friends, and some favourite faces return for new adventures in an exciting line-up of programmes for children and families across the UK.

New to the scene are ‘Vida the Vet’ and ‘Lu & The Bally Bunch’ joining the ranks alongside the much-anticipated return of "Vegesaurs" and "Andy's Global Adventures," all landing on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer this month.

The animated Vida the Vet introduces 10-year-old Vida who lives with her parents, Papa and Dad and her trusty hamster, Popcorn. Together, Vida and Popcorn venture through a magical door at the edge of their garden into the vibrant community of Sweetwood, where Vida treats the resident animals and creatures alongside Popcorn, her Vet Tech.

Another brand new animated series Lu & The Bally Bunch, follows three-and-a-half year-old Lu, a little ladybird who navigates the ups and downs of pre-school and her brand-new social life. Together with her six new friends, they dive into playful escapades, music, and a whirlwind of emotions, offering a funny and affectionate peek into the bustling world of these adorable tots as they learn to get along.

In series 2 of Andy’s Global Adventures, Andy and Scout travel the world in their eco-friendly explorer in a series of global adventures. From finding mountain gorillas in the forests of Uganda, to a secret colony of Humboldt penguins in Peru living in the Desert, Andy and Scout solve nature’s mysteries and discover incredible animal behaviour.

The excitement continues with the return of Vegesaurs for its second series! Follow Ginger, the young Tricarrotops, and her adorable Pea Rex friends as they embark on enchanting adventures, igniting young minds and fuelling imaginations along the way.

Episode 1 of Vegesaurs will be available on 22 January on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer.
