Second biggest series of the year on any channel for 16-34s

Consolidated viewing figures released today - taking account of time-shifted viewing on a television over a seven day period - show that the final of Channel 4’s eleventh series of The Great British Bake Off consolidated to 11.5m / 41.8%, which is Channel 4’s second biggest commissioned programme ever.

Series 11 was watched by an average audience of 10.6m, 40.0% share which was not only up +17% / +1.6m YoY, it was also the biggest series of Bake Off on Channel 4, ahead of the debut series on the channel in 2017 which averaged 9.0m viewers, 33.8% share.

It is the third biggest series on any channel this year for all viewers and is the second biggest series of the year for 16-34s - averaging 2.5m young viewers and a 63.5% share.

Additionally, the series is the second biggest ever on All 4 for 0-7 Day owned and operated platforms*
