Luxembourg 17th December 2013: X Factor winner Sam Bailey will take the coveted title as Christmas number one with winner’s single Skyscraper if sales continue as they have started on the Amazon MP3 Store, where Sam Bailey outsold nearest rival Leona Lewis by five copies to one on Monday 16th December.

X Factor winners have taken the Christmas number one five times in the last decade: Shayne Ward with That’s My Goal (2005), Leona Lewis with Whatever it Takes (2006), Leon Jackson with When You Believe (2007), Alexandra Burke with Hallelujah (2008) and Matt Cardle with When We Collide (2010).
