British singer-songwriter and musician Ed Sheeran has achieved an incredible feat with his album "+". 

The hitmaker's fantastic record has now been certified seven times Platinum by the British Phonographic Industry this afternoon. Platinum certification is awarded only after an album shifts 300,000 units.

Sheeran has been enjoying some time out of the spotlight, but he makes a cameo in the new Bridget Jones film, entitled "Bridget Jones's Baby". Director Sharon Maguire had nothing but praise for Sheeran's acting chops at the movie's premiere recently and told press:

"He can [act]! He can sing, he can act, a very decent human being, lovely to everyone on set. We all fell in love. I'm sad he's not here tonight so I could get a dance!"
