Ed Sheeran's album '+' goes quadruple Platinum in the UK

British hitmaker Ed Sheeran is celebrating yet another success off the back of his major label studio album '+'.

It was announced earlier today (May 30) that the popular record has now been certified quadruple Platinum in the UK and despite having only been released 8 months ago has managed to sell a phenomenal 1,200,000 copies.

He took to his official Twitter page this afternoon and thanked his fans for their continued support, writing: "Very happy to announce my debut album '+' has now gone quadruple platinum in the UK, awesome!"

Sheeran also recently confirmed that he's been spending time in the studio with Taylor Swift and explained that they have been writing songs together, although more details on a potential collaboration are yet to be unveiled.
