Ella Henderson's debut single 'Ghost' has now been certified platinum.

The X Factor 2012 finalist released the maiden effort earlier this year and it topped the UK charts.

It has now been confirmed that the tune has been given platinum status after selling over 600,000 copies.

The tune will feature on Henderson's debut album 'Chapter One', which is slated for a September 22.

The record will be preceded by the single 'Glow' on September 14.
