Emeli Sandé has announced a batch of UK tour dates.

The Scottish singer is set to play seven shows in the country in March and April next year.

Her run of dates will kick off at Birmingham's O2 Academy on March 26 before heading north to Newcastle and Edinburgh.

She will also play Manchester, Brighton and Bristol before ending up at London's Hammersmith Apollo on April 8.

Tickets for the concerts will go on sale at 9am UK time on Friday October 26.

As previously reported, Sandé recently beat Adele to have the best-selling album of 2012 in the UK so far.
