Emeli Sandé plots worldwide success

Emeli Sandé has revealed plans to become a global star.

The Scottish singer and songwriter made a hefty impact in the UK in 2012, with her debut album 'Our Version Of Events' the top selling record in the country.

She also made numerous TV appearances and is now attempting to break into the US market.

Speaking to That Grape Juice, Sandé said that she now has worldwide success in her sights. The 'Clown' star said:

"I'd love to match the success all around the world and it's great because the album's started to do really well in Europe. I've been doing a lot of shows and letting things happen naturally so I think everything will fall into place."

She continued: "You really can't go over there for a month or two, you know, you really have to invest a huge chunk of your life to make it happen. I think if you put out great music and you're patient and willing to put the work in, it'll work out."
