On Saturday, July 29, Nicole Moudaber will return to New York for a one-of-a-kind, all-night-long DJ set accompanied by immersive visuals at ArtsDistrict Brooklyn (25 Franklin Street, Brooklyn, NY). Moudaber will be one of the first DJs to play the dream venue, bringing with her an immersive show on a scale unlike anything that has been seen from the MOOD label boss before.

The techno goddess is set to continue her exploration of the digital self with a transcendental production designed to transport viewers to another dimension. The DJ, producer, label owner and visionary teamed up with Cinetica in Mexico City to create a 3D world and avatar that champions the power of the feminine.

The avatar will emulate Nicole’s own movements to depict a super-human, unstoppable female force. Taking inspiration from ancient Greek mythology alongside the future-facing world of sci-fi, the animation and avatar will take the audience on a journey to a time and place where women reign supreme and the age-old question of “what does it mean to be a woman?” is as redundant as it is tired.

Interactive design and experiential studio Volvox Labs in Brooklyn’s post-production has curated a movie-like storyline, designed to accompany Nicole’s thundering techno set and keep the audience on a euphoric high all night long.

Fans will be treated to an immersive visual journey, depicting Nicole’s avatar in a parallel universe, one where past and future merge and women rule.

The combination of smoke, lights, animation and Nicole’s unparalleled selector skills will ensure this show is a spectacle like no other, and continue the artist’s legacy as one of the most forward-thinking, dynamic and powerful DJs on the planet.
