Trip-hop maestro Kim Halliday has premiered his new track Exhale with an eerie and abstract music video.

Capturing the beautiful Bristolian landscape with a DJI-Phantom drone, the video flutters between the dusky winter morning light and the city’s darker underbelly.

As smoke unfurls and a lone bulb flickers uneasily, we are invited into the lives of two ominous individuals, as they navigate through dingy backrooms and Bristol’s famed graffiti-filled backstreets.

With artful distortion and a character reminiscent of the creepy girl from The Ring, “Exhale” is an Avant-Garde reflection on Halliday’s search for the unsettling and sets the tone for his ambitious upcoming album.

Tuning itself into a harsh, dystopian background, the track furthers Kim’s infatuation for the unorthodox, and his work continues to comfort and disturb in equal measure.
