The classically trained pianist and dancer turned pop artist describes letting his mind go in the writing process to create a track that embodies the ‘spirit of freedom from the over-thinker perfectionist cage that I think a lot of us artists are trapped in sometimes’.

Give Me Life provides us with captivating melodies and a euphoric chorus reminiscent of Glass Animals, Kygo, and Calvin Harris, in a style that is authentically his own.

Although his prolific songwriting, vocals, and left-of-centre production capabilities may take centre stage in Give Me Life, AlexanderX has been described as a ‘quintuple threat’, also being a talented dancer and pianist.

It has always been a goal of Alexander’s to use his music to put a spotlight on all the cool new dance coming out and show the world. Having previously written singer-songwriter ballads, Alexander's latest release highlights his new danceable style, encouraging an overdue ‘renaissance of dance’.
