Fifth Harmony have paid tribute to their fans after winning an award at this year's MTV EMAs.

The ceremony was held at Glasgow's Hydro arena on Sunday (November 9).

The former X Factor USA group picked up the Best US Act gong, beating off competition from artists like Katy Perry and Eminem.

This provoked a strong response from the girl band, who took to Twitter to say:

"WE HAVE THE BEST FANS IN THE WORLD!!! Thank you Harmonizers for always supporting us the way you do!"

Singer Camila Cabello meanwhile added: "You go to the moon and back for us every time, idk what we did 2 deserve fans like you, but award or no award, you're the best ever. i luv u (sic)."

Fifth Harmomy are due to release their debut album 'Reflection' in the US in December.
