Fifth Harmony: 'One Direction told us how to survive fame together'

'Sledgehammer' beauties Fifth Harmony have revealed that One Direction gave them a few words of wisdom about career success and they could really relate to everything the lads said as they're now in a similar position.

Songstress Dinah Jane Hansen has opened up about meeting boyband superstars One Direction in an interview with Sunday World and confessed that they gave them some really smart advice on the industry and surviving fame together:

"We’ve met the boys and seen how humble and down-to-earth they are, it’s clear they are still so real. It makes us want to make sure we don’t lose ourselves in this business, that’s what we learned from them. Harry told us, ‘Through everything you should stick together. Make sure you never break your bond’. I think that was good advice.”

Member Ally Brooke Hernandez also confessed that she and the girls have all been surprised by the pace of how things move within the music industry because they finished their stint on 'X Factor USA' back in 2012 and they've only just released their debut album:

"The first lesson we had to learn about the music business is that the process can be slow. But we are super pumped that our album is here at last.”
