Foo Fighters have been announced as the latest headliners for next year's Isle of Wight Festival.

Festival promoter, John Giddings, said: "What band is more fitting to bring back for our 10th birthday than the Foos? They gave it their all in 2006 and have only become bigger and better since."

The Isle of Wight Festival 2011 takes place June 1012 at Seaclose Park, Newport, Isle of Wight and tickets go on sale this Friday November 19.
