Kimberley Walsh has revealed that she has some well-known fans when it comes to Strictly Come Dancing.

The Girls Aloud star has signed up to appear on this year's series of the dance-themed reality TV show, with other competitors including the likes of Westlife's Nicky Byrne.

Walsh spent yesterday (September 18) at Clarence House with Duchess of Cornwall Camilla Parker Bowles as she helped out the Diamond Champions project, which focuses on elder people who give a lot to their local communities.

She later tweeted: "Ooh Charles was there too! Camilla said she'll vote for me on Strictly! Ha! Right time to get my dancing shoes on!"

The singer then had her first full day of dance rehearsal, posting on Twitter: "Hi guys! Still smiling at the end of our first day of rehearsal! Dancing is so much fun!!!"
