We’re back! After a three-year covid hiatus, Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard is back and bigger than ever before!

The UK’s biggest summer party returns to London’s iconic Wembley Stadium for the first time since the pandemic began, with 80,000 Capital listeners and a massive line-up of the world’s hottest artists set to descend upon Wembley on Sunday June 12th.

The first huge names confirmed for Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard on Sunday 12th June were revealed on Capital Breakfast this morning by Roman Kemp, Sonny Jay and Siân Welby, with Harry Styles, KSI, Anne-Marie, George Ezra, Becky Hill, Sigala, GAYLE, ArrDee and Eddie Benjamin all announced on air this morning.

Capital’s socials were sent into meltdown this morning as Roman, Sonny and Siân kicked off the huge reveal with the news that Harry Styles has been confirmed to perform at this year’s Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard. This comes in the wake of his massive global hit single ‘As It Was’, which reached number one in 13 countries around the world. The single is taken from his new album ‘Harry’s House’, out on May 20th. The announcement also comes on the back of his first ever headline performance at Coachella Festival last week where he played to an estimated 100,000 people on each weekend. Harry is also about to embark upon his biggest UK tour to date which will include two Wembley Stadium shows.

British YouTuber, professional boxer and hip-hop sensation KSI will also take to the stage at Wembley for the first time ever, playing his biggest show to date. KSI recently performed on night two of Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball, delighting fans with his incredible set. KSI is known for his huge hits ‘Holiday’ and ‘Patience’ and having the UK’s biggest-selling debut album of 2020.

Anne-Marie will also play Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard. Anne-Marie is a huge favourite with Capital listeners and has collaborated with some of the world’s biggest artists including Rudimental, Little Mix, Nick Jonas and David Guetta.

George Ezra also joins the line-up for Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard. He’ll play the UK’s biggest summer party on the weekend that his hotly anticipated third album drops. George Ezra’s multi-platinum first two records topped the UK album chart and featured the huge tracks ‘Budapest’ and the former Sky VIP Official Big Top 40 no.1 ‘Shotgun’. He recently returned to the charts with his new single ‘Anyone for You (Tiger Lily)’.

One of the most exciting British artists to emerge in recent years, Becky Hill will make her solo debut at Capital’s Summertime Ball this June, having previously appeared as a special guest with Sigala back in 2019. The chart-topping star has worked with huge artists including David Guetta, Tiësto and MK, and recently scored her first BRIT Award win for Best Dance Act.

Sigala will make a welcome return to Capital’s Summertime Ball to ignite the party with a set packed with the biggest dance bangers. The chart-topping DJ and producer recently returned with hit single ‘Melody’, and has a hotly anticipated new album set for release this summer. Over the years he’s collaborated huge artists including Craig David, Ella Eyre, Paloma Faith and fellow Summertime Baller Becky Hill.

Nashville singer-songwriter GAYLE rose to fame after her debut single ‘abcdefu’ topped charts globally. The huge hit spent an impressive ten weeks in the top ten of The Sky VIP Official Big Top 40, racking up over 600m streams. She’ll take to the Wembley stage just days after her eighteenth birthday as she makes her first appearance at a Capital Ball.

British rapper ArrDee is one of the biggest breakthrough stars in UK rap, with mammoth tracks including ‘Flowers’, ‘Oliver Twist’ and his collab with Aitch, ‘War’. After a sensational debut at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball in December, he’ll play to the huge Wembley Stadium crowd at Summertime Ball in what promises to be an unmissable moment.

One of the most hotly tipped rising stars of 2022, Eddie Benjamin is one to watch at Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard. The Australian singer-songwriter is a protégé of Justin Bieber – who invited him to support him on his ‘Justice’ tour – and has written for the likes of Shawn Mendes and Meghan Trainor. His single ‘Weatherman’, recently named ‘Record of the Week’ on Capital, is earning him a huge fanbase.

The launch of Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard 2022 continues tomorrow on Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp from 7am, when Roman, Sonny and Siân will reveal the second set of artists joining the star-studded line-up.
